Writer
Carolyn has worked as a deviser and collaborator throughout her career. She received Arts Council funding in 2016 as lead artist, co-writing with Dominic Grace. The piece was developed during residencies at Leeds Playhouse and Slung Low in Leeds and Greyscale in Newcastle.
Drawing on her experience of writing and performing comedy, Carolyn is currently working on a new theatre show combining comedic art forms, which she shared at Leeds Playhouse’s Furnace Scratch night in March 2020. She is continuing to develop this piece during lockdown, fueled by tea, crisps and procrastination.*
